Meet Dr. Sheets
Dr. Jay Sheets was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. In addition he completed a year of training in anesthesiology at Carle Foundation Hospital. Following completion of residency, Dr. Sheets taught residents for two years and achieved certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He established his private practice in Cape Girardeau, MO, in 1982, and has been in private practice since that time. In 2003, Dr. Sheets was appointed to serve on the Missouri Dental Board for a 5-year term. The following are Associations and Groups of which Dr. Sheets is a member:

Dr. Randal Begley graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO, in 1986. He attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City-(UMKC) School of Dentistry, graduating in 1991. He then practiced general dentistry in the United States Navy for four years before beginning residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. He also attended UMKC School of Medicine, obtaining his MD degree in 1999. He completed his residency training in 2001. Dr. Begley is Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His other professional memberships/affiliations include:

| Chris S., RN, BSN - Practice Manager. Helps us with the management and administration of all phases of the practice. Has been a member of our team for over sixteen years. In addition to being a registered nurse, Chris has also completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program and is a CPR Instructor. |

Jeanne S. - Office Manager Office Manager. Jeanne is a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant and has completed the oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program. She is a CPR Instructor. Jeanne started working in our practice approximately 13 years ago as a surgery assistant, was eventually promoted to surgical coordinator and is currently our office manager. She brings tremendous job skills and experience to her position. |
| Sandy B. - Business Manager Sandy has several years experience in the business aspect of a surgical practice. She helps coordinate scheduling, insurance, filing and reimbursement, etc. |

Dana W. - Business Assistant Dana is an indispensable member of our staff, helping with scheduling, insurance, and receptionist duties. |
| Tammy C. - Business Assistant Tammy previously worked in our office as a surgery assistant, took a couple of years off, and has recently returned to our practice. She works in the front office helping with scheduling, transcription, and helping administer our Poplar Bluff office. |

Lori D. - Business Assistant Lori is another of our employees who worked for us in the past, took a couple of years off to raise a family, and returned to our team. Lori is our primary transcriptionist, but also helps with other general business duties. |
| Chris P. - Surgical Coordinator Chris has worked in our practice for over seven years. She brought several years experience as both an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant and an Orthodontic Assistant. Chris is in charge of the surgical administration portion of our practice, scheduling hospital cases, inventory, etc. |

Rita C. - Surgery Assistant Rita has been a member of our team for over 15 years, and had previous experience as an oral surgery assistant when she joined our practice. Rita is a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant. She has taken the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program. |

| Carmen S. - Surgery Assistant Carmen has been an oral and maxillofacial surgery assistant for 13 years. She left the field for a couple of years, and has recently returned as a valued member of our team. Carmen has completed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program. |

Mallory M. - Sterilization Tech Mallory fulfills a crucial role in our office, making sure that our instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized and that our sterilization equipment is functioning properly. |
